Exact measurements for every item are on its product page, in inches and centimeters. Use this page to measure your bed, windows and pillows before you choose.

Standard US mattress sizes

Fitted sheets, protectors and toppers

Measure your mattress depth from the bottom seam to the top, including any topper. Choose a pocket depth at least that deep. The pocket depth for each product is listed on its page.

Duvet covers

Match the duvet cover to your comforter or duvet insert, not to the mattress. Measure the insert's width and length and compare with the cover size on the product page.

Curtains

• Width: for a full, gathered look, the panels together should be about 1.5–2x your window width.
• Length: measure from the rod to where you want the curtain to end: windowsill, just below the sill, or the floor.
• Panels: check whether a listing is a single panel or a set of 2.

Sofa covers

Measure from the outside of one arm, over the arm, across the back and over the other arm (arm to arm), then pick the size your sofa falls in. If you're at the top of a range, size up. An L-shaped or corner sofa needs one cover per section. Seat depth should be under 55" (140 cm). Sizes are for our Stretch Jacquard Sofa Cover.

Throw pillows

• Our pillow covers are covers only unless the product says otherwise.
• Use an insert the same size as the cover, or 1–2" larger for a fuller look (for example an 18" x 18" cover with an 18" or 20" insert).
• Lumbar covers (such as 12" x 20") need a lumbar insert of the same size.

Pillow inserts

Our Throw Pillow Inserts come as a set of 2, each 18" x 18" (45 x 45 cm). They fit any 18" x 18" cover and also fill a 16" cover for an extra plump look.

Towels and bath mats

Bath mats: 20" x 31" or 24" x 35" sits well in front of most tubs.

Tree skirts and tablecloths

• Tree skirts: measure across your tree stand and lowest branches; choose a skirt diameter a little wider than that.
• Tablecloths: add about 12–24" to your table's length and width for a 6–12" drop on each side.
